Our increasingly hectic lifestyles can leave our body feeling physically and mentally fatigued. Severe fatigue leaves you feeling drained for long periods of time.

The symptoms include lack of concentration, irritability and very low energy levels. These factors all contribute to a weak immune system.

Feeling drained and run-down can be the first sign of illness; the more pressure that is put on the body the weaker the immune system becomes.

This leaves the body with a less responsive defence system and therefore more prone to illness. The immune system is at its weakest between the onset of illness and the recovery time after illness.
